About Us... Hosts Farhad Ghatan & April White
Retired Friday Harbor innkeeper, pilot and pianist, Farhad Ghatan, fell in love with Haida Gwaii and its people, exploring the rich coast by air, afoot and afloat. His passions include fishing, cooking, building and gardening, all of which are evident in his innkeeping style.
Born on Haida Gwaii of the Yahgu'jaanaas Raven Clan, April White ~ Sgaana Jaad was formally trained as a geologist and entirely self taught as an artist. She is passionate about exploring and sharing the limitless possibilities of imagination and creativity inspired by her home and Haida culture.
Together we have created our special sanctuary on the edge of the world we would like to share and for you to call home while your exploring this breathtaking and mystical place.
